Accumulation, 2020

An exhibition at the Phipps Center for the Arts, Hudson, WI in the fall of 2020.

A statement related to this body of work: I seek to create multilayered and open-ended artworks that allow for an experience of sustained reflection from my viewers. I hope to create a series of contrasts — between physical and perceptual depth, between a sense of chaos and a sense of order, between positive and negative form, and between different types of materials and surfaces. I am interested in exploring strategies of abstraction in art and multiple ways of representing landscape, space and place through art.
